In fact, it's becoming difficult for even multi-car teams to compete with the multi-team conglomerates such as Hendrick/Stewart-Haas or Roush-Fenway/Yates/RPM. I can see a day when there is basically one Chevrolet team, one Ford team, one Dodge team, and one Toyota team. And, of course, none of them will drive Chevrolets, Fords, Dodges, or Toyotas because NASCAR has chosent to become a spec car series. Very good column, Rich, and very true.
