Tuesday, March 26th, 2013

By Richard Allen
Last week, it probably came as little surprise that fans enjoyed what they saw from NASCAR’s Sprint Cup division on the high banks of the Bristol Motor Speedway. By Richard Allen
After the ending of the Auto Club 400 in Fontana, Calif. on Sunday afternoon, Tony Stewart made his way over to the parked car of Joey Logano on pit road and engaged in a brief scuffle with the driver who he believes blocked him on the race’s final restart. At the end of […]

Throughout his career as a NASCAR driver, Joey Logano has been run over by other competitors on multiple occasions. Notably, Kevin Harvick has taken a figurative bite out of ’sliced bread’ more than once. On Sunday in Bristol, it was Denny Hamlin’s turn to send his former teammate around the spin cycle.
If Logano wants to […]

Thursday, March 14th, 2013

By Richard Allen
In the time between the two Sprint Cup races held last year at the Bristol Motor Speedway, Speedway Motorsports, Inc.(owners of the track) carried out a highly publicized “restoration” of the half-mile facility that would return it to its previous status as a rough and tumble track.
Attendance at the upper east Tennessee speedway […]

Matt Kenseth drives for a man commonly referred to as ‘Coach’ in deference to his Super Bowl victories while guiding the Washington Redskins from the sidelines. But even Joe Gibbs could have taken a lesson from his driver over the final laps of the Kobalt Tools 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway […]
