Things Keselowski might say in his acceptance speech

By admin | November 22, 2012

Brad Keselowski will address the NASCAR banquet as the Sprint Cup champion.

By Richard Allen

Without a doubt, Brad Keselowski’s acceptance speech at this year’s Sprint Cup Awards Banquet promises to be a memorable one. The somewhat unorthodox driver has been known for speaking his mind and doing so without self-censorship.

Keselowski recently appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman to read one of that program’s Top-10 lists. In the spirit of that appearance, here are some possible quotes that might come from Saturday’s address. And in true @Keselowski fashion, each comment contains less than the Twitter allowed 140 characters.

“Hey Carl, back flip over sometime and we’ll compare Sprint Cup trophies…Oh wait.”

“Nice call to let me go, Mr. Hendrick.”

“If you saw the glass I was using after Sunday’s race, you now know that I race for beer.”

“No, I don’t follow back.”

“Junior may have beaten me to the porta-potty in Daytona, but that’s about it.”

“I’ll be back here next year as long as NASCAR doesn’t find that extra fuel tank…ooops.”

“I wonder how many chips the casino will give me for this trophy?”

“Everybody smile, I’m about to tweet an Instagram of you to 300,000 followers.”

“What did those other ******* drivers say about me? What the ****?”

“Yes, I ate turkey for Thanksgiving and then sat through a foreign film.”

“I would talk longer but my crew chief just told me to save, save, save.”

“And oh yeah, Kyle Busch is an ass.”

Either way, I doubt Hendrick’s Dynasty will continue. Can’t folks realize 10 Titles in 16 Years is The Aura of of RCR (6 Titles in 9 Years) or Petty Enterprises ( 7 Titles in a Dozen Seasons)?
