A List of Questions Not Likely to be Asked During NASCAR Media Day

By admin | February 12, 2013

 By Richard Allen

The 2013 version of SpeedWeeks is finally here and the NASCAR season is set to begin this weekend with the Sprint Unlimited and Daytona 500 pole qualifying. But before any cars take to the track, drivers and other key personalities within the sport will sit down with the media on Thursday to answer whatever questions might be fired their way.

Here is a list of questions the crack staff at RacingWithRich.com has determined will NOT be asked during NASCAR Media Day activities:

“Question for Tony Stewart- Since Danica and Ricky have gotten together and it is Valentine’s Day, we in the media would like to know if you have any dead weight you’ll be sending flowers to on this special love-filled holiday?”

“Question for James Finch- Have you gotten rid of any dead weight recently?”

“Question for Chad Knaus- Did you just go ahead and bring an extra set of C-posts this year?”

“Question for Brian France- Jeremy Mayfield says he would like to come back. Have you sent him an invitation?”

“Question for Juan Pablo Montoya- Have you had second thoughts about your decision to bump draft with a jet dryer?”

“Question for Clint Bowyer- Any truth to the rumor that you will star in Forrest Gump II: Forrest Goes to Phoenix because you ‘Just felt like running’?”

“Question for Jeff Gordon- I saw the Valentine you sent Clint Bowyer. Where did you get a card in the shape of a middle finger?”

“Question for Brad Keselowski- Could you drink from your big glass before you take any more questions because your interviews are much more fun when you do?”

“Question for Mike Helton- Has anyone shown you how to use the upgraded NASCAR.com yet?”

“Question for Carl Edwards- Now let me get this straight, it’s not really $5 for ANY sub on the menu during Febru-any?”

“Question for Marcos Ambrose- How do you say ‘Boogity, Boogity, Boogity’ in Australian?”

“Question for Kevin Harvick- Has Richard Childress started asking people to hold his watch whenever you come around?”

“Question for Jeff Burton- Do you think it’s odd that your seat now conforms more to Austin Dillon’s backside than yours?”

“Question for Richard Childress- Is it true you want to go hunting with that Piers Morgan guy from CNN?”

In order to play along for your chance to win $25 by predicting the race winner of the Daytona 500, you must follow @RacingWithRich on Twitter or “Like” the RacingWithRich page on Facebook. Your pick MUST be submitted on one of those two social media locations. Submissions will ONLY be accepted between 8:00am and 1:00pm(eastern) on February 24. Twitter followers MUST use the hastag #RWRDaytona500 while Facebook submissions can simply be made under the post announcing the opening for submissions. Click here for full contest rules.

Most everything is peachy other than RC inviting Piers Morgan Hunting. I doubt Harvick has gone hunting the same as Big Dale.

Question for Danica an Ricky Stenhouse; When bump drafting, do you want to be in front or be the one pushing? Question for Danica; Are you really not racing in the Indy 500 this year or are you just blowing smoke?

Question for Danica; Will you be throwing a hissy fit every time you run out of talent this year?
