BULLS GAP, Tenn. — After taking a few weekends off racing following the very successful World of Outlaws Late Model Series fifth annual Scorcher in late August … due to several factors (the traditional end of summer over the Labor Day holiday weekend, plus it also coinciding with the start of college football and other tracks in the East Tennessee region hosting special events, along with the second weekend in September the World 100 and also Saturday night Richmond NASCAR event televised under the lights), Volunteer Speedway is ready to crank back up with an exciting five division racing program on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The pit gate will open Saturday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. and the grandstand gate at 5 p.m. Drivers’ meeting will take place at 6:45 p.m. Hotlaps are tentatively scheduled to begin around 7:30 p.m., to be followed by qualifying and then feature racing action.
