Racing scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at Volunteer Speedway has been canceled
BULLS GAP, Tenn. — With the unpredictable nature of Hurricane Ike churning in the Gulf of Mexico, threatening not only damage to millions of people along the coastline of Texas … but to oil refineries and drilling operations, fuel (gas/diesel) prices have significantly risen around the East Tennessee region on Friday. With the drastic price increase of fuel, and the possibility of many locations running out of fuel altogether, racing scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at Volunteer Speedway has been canceled.
